IAME Announces “LIGHTFIGHTER”

IAME has been grinding non-stop in the lab since releasing I Am My Enemy last year. Along with recent additions to Xperience’s “William the VIII” and Pegee13’s upcoming “Taco Neck – Tutorial”, he is in the midst of working on 3 new solo albums, the first of which will be “Lame” and is set to release sometime this winter (official date TBA). In the meantime, he is dropping “LIGHTFIGHTER,” a collection of previously unreleased tracks from around 2006 with production by Simple, Smoke, Sapient, and IAME. “LIGHTFIGHTER” will be available to download for FREE on August 2nd. We will be leaking a couple tracks in advance leading up to August 2nd so stay tuned and make sure to check out IAME’s site www.heavennoise.com

Debaser is a simmered down version of the Northwest-based crew Sandpeople.  The two-man group is anchored by the rising starSapient, who along with being the founder of SP’s cutting edge sound has also produced tracks that feature the likes of Slug(Atmosphere), Aesop Rock, Inspectah Deck (Wu-tang) and many more.

In 2006, Debaser released their debut album titled Crown Control.  The project quickly spread via word-of-mouth promotion and has secured itself as one of Sandpeople’s most successful albums to date.

New site design!

Shouts to the homie Mza(above) who worked long and hard to design and code the new site. I have no idea what our little corner of the internet would look like without him, or if it would even exist. Thanks for this fam!

Props aside, we have a couple issues to hammer out. The ‘Search’ and ‘Comment’ functions aren’t yet working properly, but everything else seems good to go. Also, don’t forget to signup for the mail list along the left-hand side! Sandpeople 2010!
